Last updated: 4 May 2026

1. Agreement to these Terms

These Terms of Use govern access to and use of NextStep, including the website, app, workflow tools, decision flows, checklist flows, evaluation forms and related services. By accessing or using NextStep, you agree to these Terms.

2. What NextStep does

NextStep helps teams turn processes into guided decisions, checklist execution and structured evaluation workflows. The service may support manual setup, JSON import and AI-assisted creation of workflow structures.

3. Accounts and access

You are responsible for keeping account credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information when creating or using an account. Admin users are responsible for assigning appropriate roles and permissions to other users.

4. Customer content

Users may submit or import workflow content, including process descriptions, questions, outcomes, checklist items, evaluation criteria, comments, case IDs, ticket IDs and other operational data. You retain rights to your content, but grant us the limited right to process it as necessary to provide and improve the service.

5. AI-assisted creation

If AI-assisted creation is available, users may submit process documentation, examples or correctly handled cases so that the system can draft a workflow. AI-generated output should be reviewed before use. You are responsible for validating any generated workflow, decision logic, checklist or evaluation criteria before relying on it operationally.

6. Acceptable use

You must not use NextStep to:

7. Operational decisions and human review

NextStep is a workflow support tool. It does not replace professional judgment, management responsibility, legal advice, compliance review or human decision-making. You are responsible for approving workflows, training users and ensuring that outcomes are appropriate for your organization.

8. Plans, fees and payment

Pricing and plan features are shown on the website or agreed separately. Fees are due according to the agreed billing terms. Unless otherwise agreed, fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable law.

9. Availability and changes

We aim to keep NextStep available and functional, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. We may update, improve, suspend or modify features as needed for security, maintenance, legal, operational or product reasons.

10. Intellectual property

NextStep, including the software, interface, design, branding and service structure, is owned by us or our licensors. These Terms do not transfer ownership of NextStep to you. You may use the service only as permitted by these Terms or a separate written agreement.

11. Confidentiality

Each party may receive non-public information from the other. The receiving party must use reasonable care to protect confidential information and use it only for the purposes of providing or using NextStep, unless disclosure is required by law.

12. Privacy and data protection

Personal data is handled according to our Privacy Policy. If your organization uses NextStep as a customer and uploads personal data about employees, customers or other individuals, additional data processing terms may be required.

13. Third-party services

NextStep may rely on hosting, email, analytics, AI or other third-party services. We are not responsible for third-party services outside our control, but we aim to use appropriate providers and safeguards.

14. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, NextStep is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free or suitable for every specific workflow. Users are responsible for reviewing and approving workflows before operational use.

15. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or loss of profits, revenue, data or business opportunities. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the fees paid for the service during the period giving rise to the claim, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

16. Termination

You may stop using NextStep at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, create security risk, fail to pay applicable fees or use the service unlawfully. Upon termination, access to the service may be disabled, but certain records may be retained as required by law or legitimate business needs.

17. Governing law

These Terms are intended for a Europe-based service. Unless a separate agreement states otherwise, they are governed by the laws applicable to the service operator’s European place of establishment, without prejudice to mandatory consumer or data protection rights that cannot be waived.

18. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of NextStep after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
